Glare
PhotoNote color cleanup does it's best to reduce the glare in your photo. If the glare is so bad that it completely saturated part of the image then there is no way to restore that part of the image. Try to avoid glare in your photographs.

Use the perspective tool to account for the keystoning that comes from taking a picture at an angle.

OCR
Since relase 2.5.0 PhotoNote supports optical character recognition. Grab the text from printed documents.
Preprocessing photographs with PhotoNote also improves the OCR accuracy of other OCR engines, such as Adobe Acrobat or MS Office.
